In the corner of an exhibition room I hanged a monumental gauche with a depiction of an enormously huge tree with muscled arms, reaching with its branches beyond the stratosphere. I consider that work as a metaphor of an imperative of a constant, unstoppable growth: in the economical context (the reference to GDP as a main sign of one’s economy prosperity), but also in the context of an individual in late capitalism reality, forced to become a better version of herself over and over.
